South Jakarta Residents Appreciate Swift Restoration of Jalan Baan

Road conditions on Jalan Baan, Ciganjur, have significantly improved after the Jagakarsa Bina Marga Executing Unit finalized repairs this week.

Acting Head of the Jagakarsa Highways Agency Unit, Hendi, stated that the road maintenance utilized hotmix asphalt. The project was initiated following a field survey conducted alongside local community leaders.

"We listened to the residents' complaints regarding the damaged road. Following a field check with the community heads, we took immediate action to resurface the area," he expressed, Thursday (7/16).

The project encompassed 520 square meters of road resurfacing, involving 12 dedicated personnel and heavy equipment.

"We achieved a swift two-day turnaround for the entire operation," Hendi noted, highlighting the team’s efficiency.

This action is part of a broader dedication to delivering safe, seamless, and reliable infrastructure for the residents of Jagakarsa.

"Hope they (residents) join us in looking after this road, ensuring its durability and long-term benefits for everyone," he added.

Expressing his gratitude, a resident named Gunawan appreciated the government's efficiency in revitalizing their local road. The upgrade has made daily commutes much safer and more pleasant.

"Thank you. Access is now much better—tidy and convenient for pedestrians and motorcyclists alike," he stated.
